Day 23
It's still raining here and I think I need to build an ark. I haven't been out of the house today to take pictures so I thought I would post one that was taken on a good day. This is a reminder of why we need the rain and to quit complaining. This is the Glory Hole at Lake Berryessa. When the lake is full, the water is covering the round cement tube that goes down into Putah Creek. Excess water flows over the top like a bathtub drain and flows into the creek. It hasn't done that in a couple of years.
I love this picture. Can you see the underwater town yet?

ReplyDeleteI think the last time I was up there the water was flowing into the Glory Hole. Cool shot!
